Medical Respite Program

A safe, clinically supported place to keep healing after hospital discharge — for patients who are medically stable but not yet ready to recover on their own.

Medically stable isn't the same as ready to go home.

A hospital stay can end before recovery does. Some patients are well enough to be discharged but still need wound care, medication management, or simply a safe place to rest — support an empty apartment, a shelter, or the street can't provide. Without that next safe step, recovery stalls and the risk of returning to the emergency room goes up. Our Medical Respite Program exists to close that gap.
